A slow-moving frontal boundary will drop south across the region today and tomorrow, triggering showers and storms today and an area of rain on Tuesday. This boundary extends west to east roughly across Lake Ontario this morning. An area of rain and storms over Canada has moved out over the northern waters of Lake Ontario. This area of precipitation is expected to stay out over the lake until it passes east of the Finger Lakes.

Actor Buddy Ebsen, who died at age 95 in 2003, found fame by starring in two of the most popular classic television shows in history: The Beverly Hillbillies (CBS, 1962 to 1971) and Barnaby Jones (CBS, 1973 to 1980). On the Hillbillies, he played former Tennessee country mountain-folk-turned-wealthy Beverly Hills resident Jed Clampett. On Barnaby Jones, he was one of TV's most senior, slyest, health-conscious detectives. Dew points will be slowly coming down today but they will still be on the high side into the afternoon. Look for decreasing clouds and increasing sunshine from west to east on this Saturday. High temperatures will be mostly in the lower 80s. Some warmer spots to the south could push it to 84 or 85 for a high. Dew points will be settling in the upper 50s to lower 60s by the end of the day. We have no issues with showers as the radars are going to be nice and quiet locally for awhile.
