Big Lots to get littler in Connecticut

Big Lots has been a big deal in Connecticut, with some 16 locations of the discount retailer around the state.
Not so big anymore, however, following last month's announcement of plans to shutter three Big Lots locations in Connecticut. Those are in Manchester, Milford, and Waterford.
Now comes word that Big Lots will be closing an additional six stores in Connecticut, raising the total to nine, as the company faces a sharp decline in sales. The additional half-dozen include Newington, New Milford, Norwich,
Torrington, Waterbury, and Windsor.
