Arrest made in deadly Middletown hookah lounge shooting

Middletown, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting at a hookah lounge parking lot in Middletown last year.

Under arrest is Chauncey Wilson, 26, of Hartford.

It was May 21st, 2023 that police were called to the Hidden Hookah Lounge on Main Street.

That's where they found the victim, 20-year-old Jonathan Semidey, with a gunshot wound.

He later died at Middlesex Hospital.

Wilson is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

He was arraigned Tuesday and his bond was set at $1 million.

Middletown police say four other people were arrested last September in connection with the case.
