Two injured in serious Meriden crash

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured two people Saturday evening.

Police say Martin Reyes, 28, of Saugus, Massachusetts, and Jesus Lopez, 42, of Saugus, Massachusetts, are seriously injured.

They were in a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe that was slowing down for traffic due to a previous crash. A 2021 Honda Pilot Touring crashed into the back of the Tahoe, sending it into a cement wall at which time it turned over.

No one else was seriously hurt.
