Card skimmer found in New London

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - New London Police are investigating a card skimming device found at the NSA Supermarket this week.

The grocery store is located at 332 South Frontage Road.

Customers are being warned to check their card transactions and alert their bank to any suspicious account activity.

Anyone with information or who may be involved with card skimmers is encouraged to contact the New London Police Department at (860) 447-5269, ext. 0 or anonymously through the New London Tips 411 system by texting NLPDTip plus the information to Tip411 (847411).

They found the device during a search for card-skimmers at retail locations in the city.
