Man charged in fatal crash

Oxford, Conn./WTIC Radio - An Oxford man has been charged in connection with a crash last February that left three people dead.

Under arrest is William Kundert, 40.

State police troopers say last February 4th, the Ford F600 Kundert was driving was seen operating erratically near Route 8 exit 23 northbound in Beacon Falls.

Kundert's vehicle hit a Honda that was stopped on the shoulder.

A woman and two children were killed.

Kundert faces charges of manslaughter, assault with a motor vehicle, failure to maintain a proper lane and other offenses.

Bond was set at $1 million.

Police say blood tests showed Kundert had fentanyl and other drugs in his system.
