Driver sought in Cromwell hit and run crash

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle in connection with a serious injury hit-and-run crash.

Troopers say that, according to witnesses, a little white Honda sedan struck and injured the driver of a 2023 Tesla who parked the vehicle on the side of I-91 Southbound near Exit 21 in Cromwell around 8:07 p.m.

The driver was standing outside the door when the white Honda struck him and kept driving on.

The driver is hospitalized with serious injuries.

No one else in the Tesla was hurt.
