Bridgeport, Conn./WTIC Radio - Bridgeport police body cam footage of an officer involved shooting last Saturday has been released by the Connecticut Office of Inspector General.

Police were called to a Terry Place home around 1:00 a.m. on a report of a disturbance.

In the video, officers are seen attempting to talk to Huntly Jackson, 45.

He turns his back on police in the doorway of the home.

As an officer attempts to open the door, Jackson then lunges at an officer with a knife, stabbing her several times, before he is shot.

The officer was treated for head, neck and shoulder injuries.

Jackson remains in stable condition at St. Vincent's Medical Center.

He was arraigned from his hospital bed Monday on attempted murder and other charges.

    The investigation is ongoing.
