Madison man killed in Westbrook wrong-way crash

WESTBROOK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly wrong-way accident on I-95 in Westbrook.

Troopers say a wrong-way driver struck and killed Mark Palumbo, 47, of Madison, on I-95 Southbound near Exit 65 around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

Palumbo was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man driving the vehicle in the wrong direction was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
