    Student accused of bringing BB gun to school

    Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A 14-year-old student is facing charges in Waterbury after police say he brought a BB gun to school.

    Police were called to Gilmartin Elementary School on Tuesday on a weapons complaint from school officials.

    Officers say they located the BB gun in the students book bag, which was in their locker.

    The student now faces charges of breach of peace, weapon on school grounds, and brandishing a facsimile firearm.
