Busch Gardens' Griffon stops mid-run; riders stuck for about 2 hours

People riding the Griffon at Busch Gardens were stuck on the ride for over two hours on Friday, according to a Busch Gardens attendee.

Cara Toward shared pictures and videos with News 3 of riders stuck on the Griffon. She told us they got stuck a little before 3 p.m.

Toward told News 3 that riders exited the Griffon around 5:55 p.m. and Busch Gardens employees were testing the ride.

We reached out to James City County officials for more information.
