Juvenile suffers non-life threatening gunshot wound in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A juvenile suffered non-life threatening injuries after a shooting early Friday morning, according to New Haven police.

Police said they responded to Yale-New Haven Hospital around 2:40 a.m. for report of a walk-in gunshot wound victim.

The juvenile victim gave officers conflicting stories of what happened, police said. A crime scene was not located.

Police ask anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant information to call detectives at 203-946-6304 or through the department’s anonymous tip line at 866-888-TIPS (8477).
