New magazine touts Connecticut farms and markets

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — A new magazine hopes to boost the state’s farms, foods and markets.

“Connecticut Grown” will be released annually.

“We want people to use this magazine as a resource so you can familiarize yourself with farms, not just in your home area, but across the state, because the summer and fall are great times to visit,” Lt. Gov Susan Bysiewicz said.

This year’s cover is Fernandes Farmstead in Manchester.
