    Fire crews responded to three separate crashes in Berlin

    BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Berlin Volunteer Fire Department had a busy six hours after three separate motor vehicle accidents happened across the town.

    The first accident happened Friday night at 8:13 at the intersection of High Rd. and Rt. 571. The fire department says it was a multi-vehicle crash and one person was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.

    Almost an hour later at 9:04 p.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred off the intersection of Rt. 5 North and Ramp E. No one was injured.

    About five hours later, an injured individual was transported to a hospital for minor injuries after a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of North Colony Rd. and Rt. 5.

    “Please stay safe while on the roads,” says the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department. “Slow down and move over whenever you see flashing lights or emergency vehicles.”
