HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Around 300 kids took part in the Roberto Clemente Foundation baseball clinic at Dunkin Park on Saturday.

On the field were Clemente’s son Luis, former Major League Baseball players, and three actors from the movie Field of Dreams. Kids ranging from six to fourteen took part in activities getting some baseball swag, and some pointers from the pros with Clemente’s number 21 on the back.

The Foundation is named for the baseball legend. Its mission is to promote positive change and community engagement through Clemente’s example and inspiration.
