Woman shot in drive-by shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman was injured in a drive-by shooting in Hartford this morning, says police.

Hartford police officers were alerted by ShotSpotter notification to 519 Farmington Ave. at 9:15 a.m. At the scene, they found a woman in her forties alert and conscious, but suffering from a gunshot wound.

Hartford police’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating the shooting and determined “shots were fired from a passing vehicle.”

The woman was transported to a local hospital.

another really bad area of Hartford,,minimal police patrol where that hole square block is open air drug markets,,,,,this area need a sub station bad!!!!
