    28-year-old dead after motorcycle crash in Waterbury

    WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a parked vehicle Sunday, according to Waterbury police.

    Police said the crash occurred in the area of Hill Street at Pilgrim Avenue around 7:19 p.m.

    Preliminary investigation showed the motorcyclist lost control and was ejected, making contact with an unoccupied parked vehicle.

    Police said the driver was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was identified Monday as Jose Morales, 28, of Waterbury.

    The crash is under investigation by the WPD Crash Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 203-346-3975.

    These motor cycle drivers think they have wings and can fly but really they only have two wheels! My heart aches for all those that died just this summer. Please cyclers be careful 🙏
