Northford farms, homes hit hard by Monday evening storms

NORTHFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Storms on Monday evening brought wind, hail and rain to the areas of North Branford and Northford.

A family was inside their home when a tree fell on their house. Everyone was luckily okay.

The crops at Cecarelli’s Harrison Hill Farm in Northford was hit hard by the hail and storms. Willy Dellacanera said that his farm has “nothing left” to grow for the rest of the year.
