It was determined Amanda Staron of Portland had gone through a red light and struck another vehicle, subsequently injuring the driver and a passenger.

Police said she appeared under the influence of alcohol and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

Staron was charged with operating under the influence, violation of a traffic control signal, and drinking while driving.

She was released on a $2,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 9.
