MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two people believed involved in an organized retail theft group were arrested Tuesday, according to Milford police.

Jenifer Salines, 27, also of Patterson, was charged with third-degree larceny, third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, possession of a shoplifting device, and interfering with an officer.

Their charges stem from a call from Marshalls’ loss prevention employees who informed police they’d been looking into an organized retail theft group driving a black Honda CRV who were suspects in numerous thefts from Marshalls, Burlington, and TJMaxx stores in New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York.

The cost of theft always trickles down to the consumer, there bonds should have Ben 50 thousand n a portion of it should be paid back to these stores that are victims of these transient thieves
