2 rob Newington package store at gunpoint

NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Newington police are searching for two people who robbed a package store at gunpoint.

At about 9 p.m. Thursday, two people went into the Country Package store and robbed it, according to police.

The first suspect is described as a large Black male wearing a green sweatshirt, black pants and a winter hat. the second is described as a thin Black male in an orange sweatshirt and dark parts with gray and blue on the bottom.

Police have not provided a picture of the duo.
