A few Sunday showers and storms to track

Though on the cloudy side, yesterday was dry and still manageble for outdoor events! Today looks to be the most unsettled day of the holiday weekend but it is NOT a washout either.

Expect clouds and some hazy sunshine along with humid conditions with a high near 80 degrees. A scattered shower or thunderstorm is possible through-out the day and into the evening hours. Timing is a bit uncertain, but a morning-midday shower with a chance for an isolated PM storms seems to be the best bet. A storm or two could be on the strong side with a damaging wind gust but the overall threat seem low. CT has marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe weather but that even looks to be a bit overdone.

Labor Day Monday looks fantastic! Sunny skies and comfy conditions. Highs in the 70s with low humidity. What a way to wind down the summer season.
