BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A tip led officers to arrest a man on weapons and narcotics charges in Bridgeport.

Officers with the Bridgeport Police Department received “credible information” of an individual selling street-level narcotics. That information led officers to the 1000 Block of Pembroke St. where they arrested 46-year-old Danny Frasier.

When approached by officers, Frasier became evasive and attempted to retrieve something from his waistband.

Officers quickly detained Frasier who had a stolen .38 caliber pistol, folds of fentanyl, 3.4 grams of crack, and an unspecified amount of marijuana.

Frasier’s bond is $100,000 and a few of his charges include:

    • Carrying a pistol without a permit
    • Interfering with an officer
    • Stealing a firearm
    • Criminal possession of a firearm
    • Possession of a narcotic substance
