ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Duke, a K9 with the Enfield Police Department, was gifted a body armor vest from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Created in 2009, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. provides bullet and stab protective vests to law enforcement dogs throughout the United States.

The organization made the charitable donation to Duke and provided a custom-fitted and National Institute of Justice-certified vest for him to wear when on duty.
