NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A man facing charges for assaulting public safety employees is now accused of threatening to kill the judge who signed his arrest warrant.

Nicholas Supple, 48, of Norwalk, called the Judicial Call Center in Hartford on Friday trying to get the body camera and cruiser footage from his arrest, according to Connecticut State Police. He then stated, “I am going to assassinate the judge that signed my warrant.”

Court records show that there are multiple pending cases against him, including assaulting a public safety officer and risk of injury to a child.

The judge was notified of the threat and Supple was taken into custody on Saturday at his work.

He has been charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
