Matt Limoncelli, the building’s owner, said he received a call around 5 a.m. Thursday, notifying him of the investigation. He told News 8 he was shocked by what was unfolding.

“This side of the street is industrial mainly,” Limoncelli said. “A lot of good neighbors and a lot of good tenants. It’s a surprise to me. Mostly people renting garages. Carpenters, plumbers. It’s pretty quiet here.”

An environmental services company from South Windsor is also on the scene.

Further information on the investigation was not immediately available.
