WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Windsor High School went into lockdown on Thursday after a student reported a “concerning comment” they overheard.

The school went into lockdown at about 12:10 p.m., according to Superintendent Terrell Hill. Hill said the students involved were questioned, and the neither had weapons.

From there, the school entered a “code yellow” that let lessons resume “while maintaining heightened vigilance,” Hill said.

Bloomfield High School was also temporarily placed into lockdown on Thursday after police received a report that a student had a gun. No weapon was found.
