    Waterbury man faces 11 years for drug distribution charges

    WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Waterbury drug dealer was sentenced on Thursday to 11 years in prison for trafficking cocaine, fentanyl and heroin, according to the state attorney’s office.

    Police found 10 kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms of heroin, two kilograms of fentanyl and over $100,00 in cash in the suspects home. Jose Duprey, also known as “Red” and “Colorado,” 53, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.

    He has a criminal history that dates back to 2008. He will also have 8 years of probation after he serves his prison sentence.
