Injuries reported after crash involving school bus in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — State police say a school bus was involved in a crash on Route 9 Friday morning.

It is not yet clear if any students were on the bus at the time or what company the bus is associated with, but police said unknown injuries were reported.

Troopers responded to Route 9 northbound in the area of Exit 23A for a two-vehicle collision around 8:04 a.m.

As of 9 a.m., the crash scene was cleared.
