    Maintenance worker burned following fire at bowling alley in East Haven

    EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The East Haven Fire Department is investigating an electrical explosion and fire at a bowling alley after a maintenance worker sustained burns to his face and and arms.

    On Tuesday at around 4:55 p.m., the fire department was called to Circles Lane at 525 Main Street on the report of a fire.

    According the fire department, the explosion occurred on the roof in an air conditioner unit.

    When authorities arrived, the fire had already been put out. The power was disconnected, but no extension was found.

    The extent of the worker’s injuries is not yet known.

    it looks like he might have crossed phases. and he definitely didn't turn off circuit #1, which got him in a lot of #2
