Injuries reported after crash involving box truck on I-91 in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Westfield fire officials say injuries were reported after a crash involving a box truck on Interstate 91 Wednesday morning.

Firefighters reported the incident around 4:30 a.m., in the area between exits 20 and 19 on the southbound side of I-91.

One patient was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to fire officials.

Traffic was down to one lane while crews responded, but the road has since reopened.
