Gladys Knight to perform at Mohegan Sun

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — The Empress of Soul will make a stop at Mohegan Sun this fall.

Gladys Knight and The O’Jays are set to perform at a 7:30 p.m. show on Nov. 16.

The 80-year-old powerhouse is known for hits such as “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “That’s What Friends are For” and “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.” Despite a “farewell tour” in 2009, she’s continued to hold performances across the world.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online, and on Saturday at the box office.
