NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — After-school activities are canceled on Tuesday at North Haven Middle School and North Haven High School after a threat, according to the school district.

Superintendent Patrick Stirk said they learned that a similar style of threat has been received by multiple schools across the country. They believe that the source of the threat was outside of the state of Connecticut.

The North Haven Police Department are continuing to investigate the threat.
