Fire crews respond to a boat in distress in East Haven

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The East Haven Fire Department responded on Tuesday to a boat in distress, according to the fire chief.

The incident happened in the area near 64 Cosey Beach Ave. in East Haven. Fire Chief Matthew Marcarelli said that nine occupants are on board and they all are wearing life jackets.
