DURHAM, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair is here! The fair’s 104th year continues to offer something for everyone.

The fair is set to take place all weekend. From Sept. 26 to the 29th.

You can anticipate lots of furry friends, live music, giant pumpkins and more.

Organizers warn that if you plan to attend the Durham Fair this weekend, be aware of scammers.

The Durham Fair posted a statement on Facebook, warning people of scammers. Multiple reports were received of fraudulent companies trying to sell concert tickets separately from the Durham Fair admission tickets.

“This is definitely the first time we’ve seen anything like this,” Kim Terrill, the fair’s president, said.

She said that in all the years the fair has been around—104 years to be exact—they’ve never had to deal with any scams that may impact fairgoers.

“Last evening [Wednesday], we were alerted to the fact that our ticket, which is a $20 admission ticket to the Durham Fair which includes all the entertainment, was being resold on VividSeats and GoTickets.com for elevated prices,” Terrill said.

She said they have reported the scammers to police and are working to get in contact with the ticket sites.

“We’re trying to get in contact with those ticket sites to let them know they’re being taken advantage of as well, that people selling fraudulent tickets through their site,” Terrill said.

If you haven’t purchased your tickets already, visit the Durham Fair website , use the fair’s app or make your purchase in person at the fair gate.

The fair runs Sept. 26 through 29.
