    Foo Fighters will no longer perform at Soundside Music Festival

    BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — The Foo Fighters will no longer be headlining the Soundside Music Festival this weekend, according to the band’s Instagram page .

    In their announcement Thursday, the famous band did not explain why they will no longer be playing the festival, but referred people to the event’s website.

    As of 1:45 p.m. Thursday, the festival had no additional information, but had updated its Sunday lineup to include Jack White and Greta Van Fleet as Sunday headliners instead.

    On the festival’s Instagram page they said “Unfortunately, (Foo Fighters) have announced they’re no longer performing this weekend.”

    The annual music festival is scheduled for Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 at Bridgeport’s Seaside Park.

    Other festival performers include Noah Kahan, Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes, Boyz II Men, Teddy Swims, Norah Jones, and Grace Potter.
