2 Hartford County residents win $100K lottery prizes

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford County has been doubly lucky this week as two residents brought home $100,000 lottery prizes.

The first winner came on Wednesday after a South Windsor player bought a winning Cash5 ticket at the Ellington Quick Mart on Windsorville Road, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation.

The second won the next day after a Bloomfield player bought a Cash5 ticket at Isaac’s Mini Mart on Mountain Avenue.

The stores will receive a $1,000 bonus each for selling the tickets.
