Ansonia fire crews respond to early morning crash

ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) — The Ansonia Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a telephone pole early this morning on the town’s westside.

Just before 1:00 a.m., firefighters were notified of a motor vehicle accident on Wakelee Ave. Due to the severity of the call, additional crews were dispatched to the scene.

First responders, with assistance from the auto repair shop Frank’s LLC, quickly stabilized the vehicle and safely removed an occupant who was taken to a local hospital.

The injuries of the occupant were not shared.

How the hell do you climb up a telephone pole. Jeep looks like mine I received several calls asking if I was ok or where I was. So funny to see what the jeeps could do Hopefully the driver is ok That could have been a bad seen over there GOD was alongside of the driver Thank GOD. Driver say Thank you GOD
