Police searching for suspect in armed gas station robbery

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a gas station in New Haven Saturday morning.

The robbery was reported at 4:00 a.m. at the Mobil gas station on 200 Sargent Drive. The clerk said that the suspect was carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and they took all of the cash in the register.

The suspect left the scene in a black Kia Sportage, which police later discovered was stolen. The suspect was last seen in a red hoodie, black pants, black mask, white shoes and green gloves.

Police ask that anyone who may have information related to this incident please call their detectives at (203) 946-6304 or leave an anonymous tip at (866) 888-8477.
