    Former Connecticut CEO found guilty of committing health insurance fraud

    EAST GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman was found guilty of committing health insurance fraud on Thursday in East Granby, according to the chief state’s attorney’s office.

    Granby man arrested after 30 shots fired during neighbor dispute

    Karen Gaston, 43, was the CEO of Elegant Clinical Corporation, a vocational program for disabled adults that was based in East Windsor. The attorney’s office said that while in that role, Gaston falsely billed Medicaid $52,648 for the fraudulent billings of nine individuals.

    She is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 25 in Hartford.
