    Woman charged with threatening violence in front of children at South Windsor day care

    SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A 24-year-old woman was charged with threatening to harm someone while in the presence of children at a day care center Friday, South Windsor police say.

    Police said Cieanna Haberern of Hartford turned herself in on an active warrant for risk of injury to a child and second-degree threatening.

    According to police, Haberern is accused of threatening to harm the victim in front of children at a day care center and also texted mutual friends of the victim that she was going to kill the victim.

    She was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 16.
