Skimming device found at Dollar General in Norwich

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwich police are investigating after a card skimming device was found at one of the registers in a Dollar General Monday.

Police said they were dispatched to the Dollar General on West Main Street around 3:45 p.m.

On scene, officers seized the skimming device, which they believe was placed on the machine sometime in the previous 24 hours.

Anyone who recently paid with a credit card at the store is encouraged to check their accounts for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
