2 juveniles arrested in New London for weapons, threats at school

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — Two juveniles were arrested this week after police say they threatened local schools.

On Wednesday, police responded to New London High School around 2 p.m. for a reported weapons call. A male juvenile was found with an edged weapon and issued a juvenile summons.

On Thursday, police identified a male Bennie Dover Jackson Multi-Magnet Middle School student who they say was responsible for a threat of violence circulating on social media.

He was also arrested and issued a juvenile summons, according to police.

Both incidents were resolved without further incident, police said.
