5 juveniles arrested in East Haven after police found them riding in a stolen car

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — 5 juveniles ranging in age from 11 to 15 were arrested for allegedly riding around in a stolen vehicle that was involved in multiple armed robberies and thefts in the area, according to police.

The vehicle, a red Hyundai with New Jersey plates, had been reported stolen and was suspected to be involved in a series of recent crimes, according to police. Police attempted to stop the car in a parking lot before the car fled the scene, breaking many traffic laws in the pursuit.

Due to the age of the arrestees, their names will not be released.
