Police said that an SUV was seen driving at a high rate of speed and passing three cars at a time in a no passing zone. Troopers chased the vehicle until it turned onto UConn’s campus, at which point state police and UConn campus police identified the owner of the vehicle by running the plates.

Joseph Caslin, 20, was arrested and is facing seven charges, including reckless driving, improper passing and disobeying the signal of an officer. He is set to appear in court on Oct. 22.
