NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Looking for weekend activities? We have eight ideas for you!

Weekends through early November, get spooked at Evidence of Evil at Lyman Orchards , an interactive Halloween attraction rated PG-13.

All weekend, ride the Haunted Trolley presenting Final Stop: Murder on the Rails, a unique Halloween event at the Shore Line Trolley Museum.

Or celebrate Halloween in a less spooky way at the Dinosaur Place’s Pumpkin Passage , a trail of lights and more, running through the end of October.

Weekends through the month, ride the Pumpkin Patch Train at Danbury Railway Museum .  Everyone gets a free pumpkin, cider and cookies.

Always a hoot!  Take a walk through Pumpkintown USA at Paul’s and Sandy’s Too where more than seventy pumpkin people reside in an old-fashioned village.

It’s the last weekend to enjoy the Apple Harvest Festival in Southington called one of the state’s top tourist events at the height of foliage season.

Saturday, take-in the talent at the 7th Annual New Haven Chalk Art Festival outside the Shops at Yale with live music, a strolling magician and crafts.

Sunday, head to the Shubert Theatre for a Free Family Fun Day . Get a backstage tour with trick or treating stations and arts and crafts.

Here’s an extra: the Benhaven Walk for Autism takes place Sunday at Lighthouse Point Park.
News 8’s Joe Furey and Sarah Cody will be there. Please come out and say hello!

Send information about future events to Sarah.Cody@wtnh.com .

    Have a great weekend, everyone!
