Lanes reopen after crash on Route 72 Eastbound in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — The lanes are once again open after a crash on Route 72 Eastbound in New Britain Friday morning, according to state police.

At around 7:50 a.m., police were called near the area of Exit 1D for a crash involving three cars.

The right and middle lanes are closed, according to police.

EMS are responded to possible injuries, but the extent is unknown.

The scene remains under investigation.
