SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Officers seized more than a hundred bags of fentanyl this month from a duo after receiving tips this summer that they were dealing drugs in Southington, according to police.

Alanna Deangelis and Tyler Marquis were taken into custody on Oct. 4, and a search warrant was issued for the hotel room they were living in. Police said they found about 16.46 grams of crack cocaine, 150 bags of fentanyl, along with $195 in cash, two digital scales and packing material.

Deangelis, 36, has been charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics. She has been assigned a $300,000 cash/surety bond.

Marquis, 30, has been charged with sale of narcotics and possession of narcotics. He has been assigned a $600,000 bond.
