1 dead after Bloomfield house fire

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A man died after a house fire on Friday in Bloomfield, according to police.

The fire happened at around 2:30 p.m. at 14 Ivory Way. The fire was contained to the upstairs bathroom, police said, and after extinguishing the fire, officials found a male in the bathroom who was pronounced dead on scene.

Investigators are still working to identify the victim.
