A chilly stretch through midweek before a warmer trend develops late week and this coming weekend. It looks very dry for Connecticut through the end of this month as of now with the storm track missing our area. There is actually a rain storm missing our area to the south this coming Thursday!

By the way! Comet C/2023 A3 (or Comet Tsuchinshan ATLAS) will be visible this week! Look to western horizon just after sunset at 6:11 PM. It’ll appear between Venus and the bright star, Arcturus. With each passing day, the comet will get higher in the sky, but will become dimmer. Binoculars are ideal, but you can see it with the naked eye for now.

Early this morning: Mostly clear with a chilly breeze. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s but feeling colder.

Today: Jacket weather! Sun with lots of mid level clouds mixing in at times. A slight shower chance in NW CT. A chilly breeze and highs in the middle 50s.

Tonight: Mainly clear, frosty & chilly. Lows mostly in the 30s to around 40.

Tomorrow: A cold start. Mostly sunny, breezy & chilly again with highs in the lower to middle 50s.

Thursday: A cold start with a freeze & frost! Sunny & not as windy with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Friday: Lots of sunshine & warmer with highs in the lower to middle 60s.

Saturday: Bright and pleasant. Highs 65-70.

Sunday: Sunny, mild and nice with highs in the lower 70s.

Monday: Bright & mild with highs around 70.
